“We researched all bikes and delivery possibilities and decided the Christianiabikes was the best option for us, We have 5 Christianiabikes, all fitted with an insulated aluminiumbox, use them 5 days a week, delivering authentic healthy Indian food to businesses in Melbourne city. It’s the 5 same bikes we started of with and beside a few bend mudguards and stretched brake cables we have had no problems at all. To illustrate how good the equipment on the bikes are after 2.5 year of use it’s still the same tires on all bikes and 9 of the 15 inner-tubes are the original. Peters service level is above anything we have seen and a big reason we are able to deliver the many meals everyday we do. It has been a very positive experience to see our and his business helping each other grow to where we are today…”

The Model No/Box is especially designed for business use.

It’s a strong steel frame, and only the imagination limits what can be fitted on it. The structure of the bike means that it don’t need the box for you to be able to ride it, so any box or tray will work.

So far we have supplied bikes and trailers to businesses as diverse as cleaners, dogminders, crumpet kitchens, hair-dressers, tea brewers, personal trainers, bakers and a projectorbike for Melbourne International Filmfestival.

We have just delivered 2 bikes to Industrial design Department at RMIT, one of the 3rd year assignments are to build a complete clothing store, on a Christianiabike, for the Social Studio in Smith Street, Melbourne.

More than 20 different businesses all over Australia use the bikes and at the moment at least 6 new projects are being built and worked on.

Many families also use the steel frame and make their own box, so they can get it exactly as they want, so if you are handy with the tools this may be an option too.

We will gladly share our knowledge and experience to help and advice on any project you might have in mind.

We can also do all your signage via our good friend Ben who owns Dottedline signage.
